NewMedia Creative Technology Studio, in collaboration with Darkroom, was commissioned by Vodafone to create an unforgettable immersive experience for their annual themed meeting in Spain. The event took place inside our custom 21.70-meter geodesic dome, installed in the iconic Plaza Colón in the heart of Madrid.

Vodafone’s brief was clear: don’t just host a meeting—create an experience. Our creative response was “Ancient Rome,” a fully immersive, action-adventure fulldome show designed to transport the audience through time, back to the grandeur and intensity of Roman civilization.

From the moment guests stepped into the dome, they were surrounded by a 360-degree world of majestic architecture, epic battles, and dramatic storytelling. With stunning visual effects and cinematic sound design, the fulldome experience reimagined Vodafone’s corporate gathering as an adventurous journey through history—blending entertainment, education, and brand messaging in an unexpected and memorable way.

The production leveraged NewMedia’s advanced fulldome projection systems and Darkroom’s visual mastery to deliver a seamless experience that captivated all senses. From gladiators in the Colosseum to Roman legions on the march, every detail was designed to immerse the audience and align with the themes of strength, legacy, and innovation.

This collaboration proved once again how immersive storytelling can transform corporate events into powerful brand moments. We’re proud to have helped Vodafone redefine audience engagement through a bold fusion of history and technology.
