A window to the future: NewMedia’s transparent LED masterpiece at Princess Inspire Hotel, Tenerife

The Princess Inspire Hotel in Tenerife, one of Spain’s leading hotel chains, entrusted NewMedia with a challenge that perfectly aligns with our vision: to merge cutting-edge technology with architectural elegance and immersive visual storytelling.

As part of the hotel’s recent renovation, NewMedia designed and installed a massive 250-square-meter ultra-transparent LED display that now stands as the crown jewel of the hotel’s new look. This monumental screen isn’t just an impressive technical feat—it’s a showcase of next-generation display innovation.

What sets this installation apart is the use of specially engineered transparent glass panels that integrate LED diodes directly within their multilayer structure. These panels were designed to be mounted discreetly behind the building’s existing glass façade, without affecting the architectural integrity of the space.

By day, the system remains nearly invisible, with 92% transparency, allowing natural light to flood the interiors while maintaining full visual clarity from both inside and out. To the untrained eye, it appears to be nothing more than a conventional glass surface. But when switched on, the transformation is immediate and astonishing—the glass becomes a giant LED display, capable of rendering high-impact 4K content, dynamic shows, branded visuals, and ambient effects with unparalleled brilliance and clarity.

The display operates both day and night, making it a living canvas that constantly engages hotel guests and passersby. Whether it's displaying custom content, artistic visuals, or real-time experiences, the screen turns the hotel’s façade into a powerful storytelling platform—and a signature visual icon for the Princess Inspire brand.
