This year, MTV selected the vibrant city of Bilbao as the capital of the MTV EMAs. The prestigious event was marked by an exclusive Pre-Award dinner hosted in the awe-inspiring atrium of the Guggenheim Museum, designed by the legendary architect Frank Gehry.
A Night to Remember at the Guggenheim: Where Gastronomy Meets Immersive Art
NewMedia Creative Technology Studio was honored to be commissioned by Mr. David Lynn, President and CEO of Viacom International Media Networks, in collaboration with the Diputación de Bizkaia and Bilbao city officials, to design and deliver an extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime experience at the iconic Guggenheim Museum.
This exceptional evening blended fine dining, immersive technology, and live art, transforming a formal dinner into a multi-sensory masterpiece.
At the culinary helm were three of the world’s most celebrated chefs: Josean Alija, Eneko Atxa, and Bittor Arginzoniz. Their world-class creations were served on a spectacular 3D-mapped stage, where light, motion, and visuals added a new layer of storytelling to the gastronomic journey—elevating the meal into a truly immersive dining experience.
The night continued with live art performances from David Morago and Miguel Caravaca, who created custom artworks as one-of-a-kind gifts, produced in real-time before the guests’ eyes. As the evening evolved, the energy was amplified by DJ Indira Paganotto, who turned the Guggenheim into a vibrant, multicolored dance floor, merging the elegance of the setting with the excitement of modern sound and visuals.
This unforgettable evening was a celebration of creativity, technology, and culture, and a true testament to NewMedia’s ability to craft transformative experiences that leave a lasting impression.
