The event was produced by NewMedia Creative Technology Studio, known for creating innovative immersive environments that fuse art, music, and technology.
This exclusive event brought together two creative powerhouses: Kendrick Lamar and contemporary artist Shantell Martin. Guests were welcomed into a stunning 360-degree visual environment featuring Martin’s signature black-and-white illustrations—free-flowing faces, shapes, and patterns that set the tone for the evening’s powerful artistic convergence.
As Lamar took the stage, the dome transformed into a multi-sensory visual performance. His set was interwoven with montages of cultural icons, including Michael Jordan, Prince, and Pam Grier, visually amplifying the themes of identity, excellence, and legacy. The performance blurred the lines between concert and visual art installation, creating a space where creativity was both seen and heard.
Kendrick noted how Shantell Martin’s freestyle approach to art resonated deeply with his own creative process in the recording studio—raw, intuitive, and emotionally charged. The collaboration became a celebration of spontaneous expression, innovation, and cultural storytelling.
